My way to Rolfing began more than 25 years ago: I had just been certified as an actress and was in a transition phase between student life and „real work“, when I heard about this method promising astonishing results for both body and soul. And I was impressed by the changes: postural improvement, a smooth movement quality, a new awareness of being erect in space, and a thorough detoxofication process both on physical and psychological levels. In eleven years of acting on stage and more than 30 years experience in yoga and dance, these qualities have made my life and work substantially easier.

I have always been fascinated by touch: its different qualities, its broad spectrum of effects for every individual, its possibilities to reach all – virtually all – levels of human experience. After working as an author and editor, amongst others in the Health and Alternative Medicine field, I finally started my bodywork practice, first with massage and since 2007 also with Rolfing. A special field of interest for me is the re-integration and stabilisation after pregnancy and giving birth.
